エンジンEngine Details
JDM 2001–2005 Honda Civic D15B 1.5L SOHC VTEC Engine
Japanese-domestic D15B 1.5L SOHC VTEC inline-4, imported direct from Japan — an efficient replacement for the 7th-gen Civic. We keep this engine in regular rotation from our container imports: clean, low-mileage units (typically 45,000–65,000 miles), compression-tested and auction-graded.
What you get
- Complete D15B 1.5L SOHC VTEC engine (block & head)
- Intake & exhaust manifolds, alternator
You'll transfer your original ECU, wiring harness and external accessories. When you order, we pull a clean in-stock unit and send photos and the serial of the actual engine before it ships — real engines, never stock photos.
Fitment
Interchanges with several U.S.-market Civic applications; confirm fitment with your mechanic before ordering.
Warranty
90-day replacement-engine warranty — full terms at jdm-online.com/pages/warranty.

Pre-install checklist
- Reseal before install — fresh valve cover, oil pan and rear main seals are cheap insurance on any import
- Service the timing components — inspect or replace belts, tensioners and the water pump while access is easy
- Fresh fluids & filters — new oil, coolant and filters before the first start-up
- Transfer your accessories — intake, alternator, A/C and harness setups vary by market; reuse yours where needed
Want this unit's numbers? Call (972) 494-4900 or text (469) 570-4113 and we'll send the compression results and extra photos of the exact engine before you buy — proof over promises, always.
