Before you install — apex seals
Rotary apex seals dry out and harden with age. Brittle seals crack, and that shows up as poor compression. We strongly recommend replacing the apex seals before installation. Every rotary we sell is verified free of seizing before it ships.
Fitment
This is the 4-port Renesis, the automatic-car specification — 6-port cars use different components and make more power. Confirm which your car uses before ordering.

- Service the timing components — inspect or replace belts, tensioners and the water pump while access is easy
- Fresh fluids & filters — new oil, coolant and filters before the first start-up
- Transfer your accessories — intake, alternator, A/C and harness setups vary by market; reuse yours where needed
