Genuine Japanese-domestic-market 3S-GE 2.0L DOHC dual VVT-i BEAMS inline-four, imported directly from Japan by JDM Alliance and supplied as a complete swap package — engine, 6-speed RWD manual transmission and ECU. Serial 3S-GE-9397315.

What BEAMS means
BEAMS is Toyota's high-compression dual VVT-i version of the 3S-GE, fitted to the Altezza RS200 — the car sold in the U.S. as the Lexus IS300 with a straight-six instead. It's a genuinely different engine from the earlier 3S-GE, and it is not the turbocharged 3S-GTE. Because the U.S. never got this engine, a matched engine-gearbox-ECU package is the practical way to run one.
